Promotional: Sony PSP Tournament at CPL

By: Joe Hoffend - Published April 27, 2006 at 3:37 PM EDT - Writer Archive
GotFrag will be hosting a Sony Sponsored, Socom FireTeam Bravo tournament at the winter CPL.

The line in the sand has been drawn. The smack talk has been thrown down. This Thursday live at the CPL come witness the GotFrag staff as they put up or shut up for their chance to win a Sony PSP. The tournament is sponsored by Sony PSP and will feature the game Socom FireTeam Bravo. Come watch as Editor in Chief Jason "Anomoly" Bass squares off against Trevor "Midway" Schmidt or perhaps a match up of the mouth versus the head as Scott "SirScoots" Smith takes on Chris "Bootman" Boutte. All matches will be head to head using Sony PSP's wireless network functionality, in single elimination melee. So, every frag counts. The top 3 finishers win a Sony PSP and a copy of the SOCOM Bravo game.

If the match ups of your favorite GotFrag staff are not enough reason to swing by, how about the chance to win your very own Sony PSP? GotFrag will be giving away, via raffle, two Sony PSP's with a copy of the SOCOM Bravo game to two lucky spectators at the CPL. In addition, every monday after the CPL, a random drawing will give Prime subscribers a chance to win one of the remaining PSP and SOCOM Bravo games from this event! So swing by the GotFrag booth this Thursday at 5 PM CST to watch the fun and for your chance to win a Sony PSP.

Update: Spectators are gathering at the GotFrag booth as matches and raffle in the GotFrag Staff tournament sponsored by Sony PSP is about to get underway. Stay tuned as we update scores and bring you all the sorrid details as the GotFrag staff go head to head for honor, pride and in some cases maybe a job.
