Our final sweepstakes for the IME 3.0 involved guessing how many IME 3.0's were in a jar. Since it was possible for more than one of you to guess the correct amount, those who were correct were entered into a pool and the winner was randomly chosen.

What was up for grabs? The final set being given away features an original IME 3.0 signed by both Bill Gates AND Steven Fisher, Sr. Industrial Designer on the original IME 3.0 (see below for pictures). The New IME 3.0 in the final set will be unsigned but will feature a custom paint job done by the Microsoft Hardware concept workshop. Read our interview with Steven Fisher.

#1 , i did the same thing..... i counted them 3 times with photoshop and ended up with the numebr 145 everytime... wtf lol.

if i cared enough i could've counted them with photoshop too.

If someone says its 146 and not 145, I think it needs to be proven. I spent atleast an hour in photoshop counting and labeling each and every one, and got 145 after double and triple checking. If there is another one hidden in the picture, I'd like to see it pointed out to me. I think that its either too hidden for me or there is simply not enough information to prove another one exists based off the image data. Only way I see more is someone calling what I see as part of the same 1 mouse that another mouse is overlapping, actually 2 different mice. But even then, in all the spots I checked, I can tell by the red led and shadowing and contour details, there only appears to be 145.

I honestly think this contest is either rigged because either the claim each one is "clearly visible" is not true, or theres a mistake in the way were suppose to count the mice. I also think the arch above 104 in my picture is part of 103, and if its not then thats a pretty pathetic attempt at rendering a mouse because its obviously not part of any other mouse surrounding it.
